Chapter of Excellence

Description
The purpose of this award is to inspire chapters
to reach a level of overall Chapter Excellence
for the year and runs from January 1st
until December 31st of each year.

Criteria for this award is intended to assist
our Chapters in completing most basic
requirements for a program that will enrich,
encourage and strengthen our young men and
Advisors.
Each Chapter successfully
completing the program will receive a monetary
award. All packets received by the deadline will
be used to determine an overall Chapter of
Excellence with an additional monetary prize
awarded in addition to the monetary
participation award.
Chapters attaining the
Chapter of Excellence will be awarded a streamer
to be affixed proudly to their Chapter Banner as
well as a plaque to display proudly in their
chapter.
If a Chapter is awarded this honor for 3
consecutive years, the 3rd streamer
and plaque will change color in acknowledgement
of this accomplishment.
Chapters will be graded in
the areas of Membership, State Event Attendance,
Term Plans, Education, Ritual, Chapter
Communication, DeMolay Month, Chapter Activities
(civic service, masonic service, fundraising,
social, athletics) Visitations, and their
Advisory Council.
