Paul Penley Memorial Chaplain's Bibles

Description

Each winner of the Chaplain Competition is Awarded a personal Bible.  Paul Penley was State Chaplain in 1979.  State Chaplain was the first of 4 elected state offices at the time.  Paul was a member of Harford Chapter (now Nelson J. Briggs Chapter) who tragically died in a car crash while in office. The bible is presented by his parents Wilbur (Hon LOH) and Jean, (Past President MD State Parents' Club) as a memorial to Paul.
