Maryland DeMolay Mourns the loss
of a beloved Advisor and MOM of
Catonsville-Palestine Chapter
It is with deep sadness and
regret that we announce the
passing of Mom Cindy Linder
after her battle with liver
failure.
Mom Linder
was a strong force in the
Chapter as well as the State.
She will be sorely missed. We
look now to comfort, help and
support Dad Lee, Adam and Matt
as they go through this moment
of great sadness and transition
in their lives. May God's loving
grace bring happiness where
there is sorrow and peace where
there is unrest.
In memory of
Mom Linder, all Maryland DeMolay
Chapters are asked to place a
White flower on their altars.

A Senior DeMolay, Chevalier,
Advisor of many years and avid
support of DeMolay on MD's
Eastern Shore is killed in a car
accident on Rt. 50
With deep regret we announce the
passing of a long time advisor,
Senior DeMolay, PMC, Past Grand
Commander of the Maryland Court
of Chevaliers. Dad Sam
Vincent was killed in a car
accident on US Rt.50 near
Pittsville on Maryland's Eastern
Shore. We will miss his
company and good humor and wit
that he shared with us at every
Conclave during the Chevalier
vs. DeMolay Softball games.
Dad Vincent was also a extremely
lauded State's Attorney who's
office had just won accolades
from the US Attorneys Office.

Spring Degree Class
Chapters
from all over the state came out
for a record attendance and
initiation in recent years.
We congratulate all the newly
initiated members and chapters
on such a successful turnout.

Ron Shaver Tournament
The
first annual Dad Ron Shaver
ritual tournament was quite
a success with a well
rounded tournament in many
of the competition
ceremonies offered.
From Magnificent 7 (one of
Dad Shaver's favorites) to
DeMolay degree to Chevalier
Investiture all chapters
competitors in attendance
showed great potential and
promise. |
First Annual Maryland
DeMolay and Chevaliers
Billiards Tournament
The
Maryland DeMolay Court of
Chevaliers held and
sponsored their first ever
billiards tournament after
the SMC's Spring degree
class in Frederick Maryland
at All Star Billiards.
We definitely had some pool
sharks in attendance and all
were racking them in.
The Chev's treated everyone
to free sodas and a few
tried the hall's great
burgers and fries (mmm old
bay). We even got some
old faces out for a great
times and comradeship
amongst DeMolays and
Chevaliers alike. The
Chev's look forward to
making this a tradition and
doing it again next year.
Congratulations to the
tournament winners, The
trophies will be awarded at
the Conclave Banquet. |
